When Jesus was here on earth as a human, he spent much of his time with sinners (tax collectors, drunkards, and prostitutes).They were attracted to him because he was not like the religious people of his day. He loved them and had compassion for them. He healed the sick, raised the dead, and comforted the oppressed.
In this community of believers, the imperfect are perfectly welcome. We share his love and fellowship to all who are discouraged, disillusioned, and downcast.
